I’ve been using Crème of nature for 3 years now and have had no real problem with this product. I usually use it on its own and once a month I use a wash out conditioner so that it has extra moisture especially during the colder months. I must say when I first used it I felt like wonder woman. I applied the shampoo to my hair in sections in the shower and after I washed it out all my curls separated and I was shaking my hair like thoses girls on the commercials thinking ‘wow, I feel good….’. My hair was easier to manage since then and shiny before adding other products.
I have heard from other people and certain websites that it didn’t work well in their hair and that they had residue left in their hair etc…. Well I think that it could be due to the products that are mixing with the shampoos because if you think about it you add hair pomades, sprays, oils, and grease to your hair after you shampoo and they all have different ingredients. So its normal that maybe your shampoo doesn’t work well as it did before. It could be that the other products being used are harder to wash out of your hair (e.g stupid mineral oil) in which case you then need to use a hair Clarifier to remove product build up for Crème Of Nature to work again.
I still would recommend this product as it works well for me (Not the new formula because it has sodium lithium sulfate). My hair is frizzy and curly at the same time and its not that thick and this shampoo works well on my hair. I would suggest that you use a clarifier every now and again to remove build up caused by other products.
