Great for natural afro, curly and frizzy hair
Pros Smells gorgeous, makes my hair very soft and easy to manage, shiny hair
Cons If you use alot in one go it can leave heavy residue (flakes is not my friend) and my hands felt a bit sticky after use
Price £3.99 a great price because it lasts me a long time
Recommend? YES!

Ingredients
Water, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Glycine Soja Oil (Soybean), Propylene Glycol, Polyquaternium 37, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, PPG 1 Trideceth 6, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Stearalkonium Chloride, Trimethylsilylamodimethicone, Panthenol, PPG 1 PPG-9 Lauryl Glycol Ether, Lanolin Oil, Cinnamidopropyltrimonium Chloride, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Acrylamidopropyltrimonium Chloride/Acrylamide Copolymer, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Benzophenone 3, BHA, BHT, Zea Mays Oil (Corn), Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, DMDM Hydantoin, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance

I was first drawn to this product because of the packaging, it stood out more than the other conditioners, was more visually professional looking and for the ingredients, I saw no mineral oil and no petroleum. It was a good price for a 473 ml tub and it smelled yummy, good enough to eat. I thought that you couldn’t go wrong with this product if it has shea butter as the second ingredient. (I heard somewhere that they list the ingredients from most amounts to least).

Anyway I washed my hair with my usual Crème of Nature shampoo (Will write a review on that product soon) and applied the Cantu Shea Butter to my towel dried hair. It has a very creamy texture and it rubs into my hair easily. I noticed the difference immediately as my comb glided straight through my hair with ease and it smelt great even my boyfriend thought it smelt lovely which is always a plus point. My curls looked will defined which surprised me as my hair is usually very frizzy.

However I did notice that after a few days my hair started showing flakes which I wasn’t used to before and thought ‘Oh my god bad product again!’ but then I thought ‘hmmm maybe I should give it another try after shampooing and maybe use less’ which I did and guess what happened a few days later? NO MORE FLAKES! I also experimented with using it to create my twists and I started putting some on my dry ends and it worked beautifully. My hair is always super soft now. I only apply a small amount because it makes my hair too greasy if I put too much. I must say that anyone who has frizzy, natural, mixed or afro hair should give it a try as it worked well with me.
